That's great to hear! We have struggled through these chickens without any local help so maybe we can lean on you for support when we need help? My wife is on here periodically trying to locate info and posting for assistance and this site has been a godsend.

Aaron,
Maybe someday soon we'll meet up. I'd love to see your chickens and turkeys. We had a female turkey that was born from an egg at our house before we moved in. Then a male turkey caught wind of her and hung out everyday for over 10 years. He was amazing. We really enjoyed the turkeys and miss them.

very nice !!! I really like the lights!

this will be one of the coops i will show GopherBoy in the morning to get him motivated to get ot work on ours!!

psst....maybe it's just me, but when you post pics if you put a space between them it makes it better for some of us (ME) to be able to see them clearererer. They are great pics, just hard for me to tell where one starts and one ends.

Thank you for the compliment.

Took care of the spacing for you. Thanks for pointing that out for me.

I'm so glad I found this! I live in Charlotte and I'm currently building my coop. It won't be as fancy and good looking as yours! It's nice to see another Carolina coop. I needed to see what was appropriate for our weather conditions.

Awesome job!

That is a beautiful coop! Your husband did a great job. I really like the nesting boxes. That is so convenient to just be able to pull them out and gather the eggs.
