The coop is done! Now for the run!

Moved the girls outside to their new digs! Keeping heat source in the coop with them for another week or two as they are 5 weeks today. Let me know what you think!

Great job on the ventilation covers! If chicks are 5 weeks, unless it's ridiculously cold where you're at, you really should be weaning them off heat - they won't need another 2 weeks of it.

Not bad at all. Not sure what temperatures you have them acclimated to now but you can definitely work on weaning them off heat this week.

Nice job on the coop!! I totally agree on getting them off the heat this week. If your using a heat lamp, make sure it's fastened 3 different ways so it doesn't fall and start a fire. My nephew just had a small fire from one a few weeks ago. It's a real concern, when using them.
