They are inside an air conditioned building in large walk in bird flights bedded with Aspen and straw, but they are VERY messy. I have to clean them out with the pitchfork, scraper and wheelbarrow every other day. Would almost rather do horse stalls.
But...after all is said and done, they are so incredibly tender and tasty. I almost go into a trance eating one roasted with garlic powder and honey.
