It's a little unusual for a college student to have chickens. I think you are the only one I know of. What would possess a college student living in Missoula Montana to keep chickens. You got a hanker'n fer eggs?

Well I don't plan on staying here. Plus college (although VERY expensive) is a lot of fun. Did you do an studying?

I mostly studied how to earn a living after marrying my high-school sweetheart after she graduated. I've been studying that for 32 years.

No, I have always like the idea of sustainability. Knowing where your food comes from. And I grew up in the country so chickens were a part of my life then and I liked it enough to get them now. Eggs are nice, but I don't like them in particular. I usually give them away or sell them. They are like cats to me except they poop and the lawn grows. I'm not a hippy, in fact I despise hippies. But I especially like the idea of sustainability. And Missoula, MT is a hippy town. Very much so. So actually I'll bet I'm not the only college student with chickens. It's also a fun challenge raising them.

OH! Congrats for entering a marriage that lasted. I know that the probability of 32+ years of marriage is a difficult thing these days. You marry young, and break up soon after you know.

I see. So you're a collge student living in a rented house in missoula montana (i just like the way that sounds) that raises chickens but doesn't care for eggs or hippies. I myself have not seen a hippie in quite some time. I think you are to young to despise anything. That usually does not happen until you have been married for a while. Have you been harmed by hippies?

No big deal, neither the wife nor I wanted sole custody of the three kids. If neither of us could be free we decided to suffer together. Share the misery sort of thing.
