well happy bonfire night to all you brits or people who know what bonfire night is. I miss going to see the fireworks every year at Hyde Park, they'd go for an hour. round here the only fireworks are for commercial events or new years eve/australia day. There's none on sale for the public, which is both rotten and a bit of a relief In China people would be setting them off into the early hours and new years day (jan 31st) set off a disgusting round of smog although it was pretty much so much fun for the night. Fireworks in Germany got as good as individual rockets: not as exciting as the massive 200-round (for the millionaires) or 24-round (for the proles) batteries wired to go off in rapid succession but a lot cheaper and cleaner air.
