Well, I'd prefer not to talk about the first one...
Anyhow, there's this other girl I'm pretty good friends with. She was going through some hard times, and I kinda got carried away telling her about my holidays interstate... didn't really think about the fact that she's been dying to go herself for AGES, and probably won't get the chance to... afterwards I just though, crap - foot in mouth. She's going to think I'm being an absolute show off.
And now she's avoiding me. :|

Is it possible to approach her and apologize and explain? If not

I mean, I hadn't even said that much about it! I was only getting started on the details when I decided I should probably leave it... anyhow, do you think she's mad at me?

Especially when they've just been explaining to you about their problems and tried to get you to change the subject!
