and if you haven't noticed, i'm trying to proove to ducky that if you could make a forcefield, it'd be very hard to sustain

well, if you survived it (it is possible) you'd
a. have shrapnel all over inside you
b. have the most terrible ringing in your ears for a few seconds
c. be laying there either blacked out, or more disoriented than a drunk man


face the facts, i'm actually being realistic here, and i'm still beating you fairy-tale creatures

well, the stress of small pieces of lead going 2000MPH+ has got to go somewhere. if magic is your power source and magic is inside you, the stress is going to affect you (maybe not at first)

don't you know basic physics? when an object in motion hits an object at rest, some energy is transfered to the object at rest.
