just didn't work for me. and no, it never really did bring me happiness. I guess thats actually part of the reason; my mom, my dad, my sister, and my brother all were always loving it and having fun with it, but i never did no matter how hard i tried.

And no, i do not just believe god don't exist; i ain't an atheist. to me, god is just a secondary to what i believe.

What's the point of being optimistic anyway? It just ends in disappointment. I have no high expectations for anything anymore.

My mother is a Christian. I believe most of what she believes (although we do have our debates about certain facts we disagree on, as with anything!) and go to meetings with her, read the churchy stuff. I do not, however, at the moment place religion as a foremost priority of mine right now. I'm not ready to go the full hog and give up my career ambitions, and some of my favourite things I like to do to become a hard-core Christian.

I do find some comfort in some of the messages they have to offer though.
