I think all BYCers should have stress chips for during hatches, after losing a bird, or when the site is down for maintenance.

You hate the quote "The sky is falling!"
When you wonder how many more months before you are a flock master. (It took me almost two years to get halfway, so I'd say another two years)
When seemingly nonsense phrases such as "Nifty, Speckledhen, Happy Chooks, Golden Feather, Platnum poultry" mean something to you.
When you know all of the following abbreviations: BYC, RIR, EE, GJF, RR, BA, BO
When you have narrowed down whoever nominated you for your BYC friend badge to a few peeps.

Hm. I wasn't around long enough to know of that.

By August 2012, when I joined, most of BYC was quite used to the new platform, and it took me a wile to realize there had ever been an old one.
But I do remember the old PM and reply editor that changed last year. And they changed a few skin inconsistencies, so things turned out cream and peach colors instead of white and blue, I think? Those are the only updates I can really remember.
