Most of my scripts have one or more of those in them too, in some form

Ahh yeah, that one was pretty sad. Do something happy this time. I usually find writing stuff with funny dialogue provides good laughing material later on when I've forgotten all about the storyline.

Explosions are so much fun.

And I didn't even show you the worst scene.
Yeah, I'm figuring I'll try my hand at a sci-fi/magical girl comedy thing. Because THAT'S never been done before!

Although they're pretty hard to put on paper, even though visualising them's usually the easiest part

o.o What happened?
Should be interesting.

I try to include a bit of comedy in everything I write. Otherwise if it's too depressing I'd probably hide it away in some far-flung corner of my computer trying to put it out of my mind

Nice quote, but there are many like them. Also your signature reminds me of a quote from Portal 2:
"When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your dang lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!" -Cave Johnson

I need some advice, guys.

I've noticed that I frequently lie to others so they don't have to worry about me and do extra work for me, and so they can have an easier time. For example, if they say that they can make me some food, I'll tell them not to worry about it and that I'm fine, even if I haven't eaten in a day or so.

Lately, my boyfriend has gotten a little suspicious of everything I say simply because of this fact, and it's lead to quite a few times where I burst out into tears while talking to him. However, I'm making it easier for everyone by lying, right? So I don't get why he's getting this way.

Advice?

Oh man, I mean, it's okay to accept a little help now and then!

It's easier not to lie. Sometimes I might tell a little porky to make sure someone else doesn't go out of their way, but if they're genuinely willing to help sometimes it's good to let someone else do somethin for you. Doing a good deed for someone else makes others happy too

hey ray, remember how we were talkin bout stuff like USA, Australia, and some British culture and stuff? well i have another question: remember how you said aussies really do try to copy american accents? what phrases do you guys copy most? like over here, sometimes people'll say "Gooday mate" for aussies or "ello gov'ner", "fish and chips mate!" etc. for brits

I do remember indeed.
I personally don't say it, but when a LOT of Aussies say "Oh my God", it comes out in this weird American drawl. Too much TV, we're so beer-sausages-and a good program down here
lol.png

"You know what" "any time" and "Yee-haw!" are some other favourites that people like to say in American way.
