Depends on what we're studying. This semester we're doing a military history unit. We're almost done with WWII, then we're going to learn about Korea and Vietnam. We also work on drilling, and later we'll start physical fitness training.

Didn't I show you the pictures of our certification? Anyway, I don't know how other groups do it... We're not federally-funded, since the guy running it isn't a major, he's a sergeant. But we have M1-Garands, and yes, we get to hold, shoot, and clean them.

Depends on what we're studying. This semester we're doing a military history unit. We're almost done with WWII, then we're going to learn about Korea and Vietnam. We also work on drilling, and later we'll start physical fitness training.

i'd do good in all these war unit things! i already know tons of WWII stuff! and i can always ask my grandfather about the Korean war; he was drafted in it

i wounder what kind of guns i'll be able to shoot/hold/clean

Those tests are HARD!!

Well, don't be disappointed if it's not an M1... I think JROTCs usually use air rifles and... something else that I don't remember. We only get to use the M1s because we're being sponsored by the American Legion.

6 years old? thats a little young to be even playing with a real gun O_o
