They are tiny, but once grown I have found them to be pretty hardy little buggers!

lol, when it comes to picking a new breed, I can never seem to choose just one.

i see ^^ but Louisiana is full of predetors, even if i don't live by a bayou i mean, there's foxes, coyotes, kites, buzzards, hawks, falcons, "polecats" (skunks), snakes, and other creatures

Same here in AL. Plus snakes, eagles, snapping turtles, etc. We have'em all. Just have to build the houses into small fortresses! lol Although that can get quite expensive.
Not to mention feral dogs/cats/muffins.

They roam these parts in ravenous packs, all kinds of'em.
Choco chunk, blueberry. People just don't understand, you just can't let your muffin go free, this isn't even their native planet!
