Yes. Rexi the silkie chicken, she's going to be my daughters house-chicken, and we had another silkie, but the barn cat snuck in under dad's watch and killed Sally before he could grab him when they were in the brooder.

The little black/yellow chick, is at least half cochin, and either full cochin, or half bantam, half cochin. (Depending on which hen laid the egg.)

We hatched it ourselves, and Rexi is raising it now that she lost her buddy. I go in and check on them and Star is huddled under Rexi's butt like she's a mother hen and Rexi lets it. LOL

Star was so tiny when she was born, smaller than all the hatchery chicks we've had so far.

Hi everyone! Sorry i havent been on lately, i've had school, co-ops and other random stuff lol. How are yall doing? Hope everyones chicks/chickens are doing well and i should be back on in a while... bye for now
