golly, sorry i haven't been on much i the last week or so, i started basketball four days a week, along with school, getting supplies for the coop and starting to construct it I've been so busy! how about you guys?

Right it really is and it's extra funny that the hen teaching them is a chick too

haha yeah

i miss having chicks, i only get them when we are down to 2 hens. which has only happened once, The first chickens we got there are 2 left, 5 years old, and we got 3 buffs almost 2 years ago, they will be 2 in April.

last year i made a slide and it lasted for almost a month! In early January it was the size of a decent snowball

It was very fun

I have 2 ducks,( Redferd is a male black Swedish, Squeaky is a female Blue Swedish) and 5 chickens. ( 1 Austrolorp, Tweeter, 1 barred rock Feathery, 3 Buff orps, Little Buff, Sunshine, and Little Jerry, i had 2 barred rocks and 2 austrolorps, but Fluffy and Snowy died, snowy was a barred rock, Fluffy was a Australorp)

Then there are the Mallard ducks that come into the cove, they are considered pets, but they are really just wild ducks. So are the Canada geese
