Good luck you'll have to let us know how they do I love silkies they're so cutethanks. I just got 28 viable silkie eggs I'm about to put into the incubator, they are shipped eggs, so we'll see how they do.
I have 2 that were viable after day 14 from my first batch of silkie eggs (shipped attempt) and they are due for lock down this weekend. If they hatch, i'll post some pics!Good luck you'll have to let us know how they do I love silkies they're so cute
Sounds good hopefully a majority of them are viableI have 2 that were viable after day 14 from my first batch of silkie eggs (shipped attempt) and they are due for lock down this weekend. If they hatch, i'll post some pics!
my daughter's house chickens ;o (They have a rabbit cage for outside, so they can eat grass and bugs occasionally, too.)
Nice thing about drafty "old" houses, is the fact that a lot of bugs get inside the house too, I'm kind of hoping they'll remove the bug population/spiders from our house.... and my daughter's very interested in learning how to sew now, because she wants to make them chicken diapers.
once they are more adult-sized, they'll get to come out. I have 3 house cats, and don't want them getting injured. That is so cute! if you let them "free range" in your house, then they might find some spiders and bugs easily![]()
