Depending on how old the chicks are could be a reason they aren't interested in the yogurt or other treats. I offered yogurt to my chicks when they were 1 week old and they just stepped in it and walked around the brooder getting pine shavings stuck to themselves. I waited a week and offered meal worms to which they were a little hesitant. It didn't take too long for them to run around the brooder playing "keep away". A couple days later I offered yogurt and they gobbled it right up. So, maybe it'll just just take a little time

mine had the "scarey broccoli" attack.. we dropped a piece in with them and they all ran off to a corner to hide.. eventually one got brave and touched it.. when the piece of broccoli moved just the tinest bit, they all went into a squawking fit and flew on top of each other to get away....it was hilarious..

I gave mine (month old chicks) crickets and they went crazy for them (It was funny to watch them scramble) and the 2 wk old chicks, wouldnt' touch em.
