I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right section, but hopefully you all can help me.
This morning, around 5, we were woken by the crowing of one of my Barred Rock "pullets." This was inevitable since it's been a while since I realized they were probably male and in the last week I figured out that we were sold Black Sex Link cockerels as Barred Rock pullets.
We live in the suburbs and cannot have a rooster crowing so we're going to eat them.
Any advice on slaughtering and butchering in the suburbs? My husband has done it before, but always in the country where no one cares.
Thanks in advance
