The curse— RP

Pics
June and Anita were gone and Hazel was alone. She stood in the leaves, she figured no one was around and pushed a cloud fiercely in front of the sun. Then she made it rain. She spread her wings and let the rain drip off her wings. She got tired of the rain and pushed all the clouds away. The sun streamed into the forest and Hazel happily shook out her wings. Moth cheeped and fluffed out her golden feathers.

Suddenly, a dog barked in the distance. Hazel lifted off and flew as lightning speed into the air, hiding in the high branches of a spruce. Another bark. Hazel froze, sending a telepathic message to Amber, Amber.
A human burst into the small clearing she had been in just a few seconds ago. A large muscular dog followed. The dog barked and circled around, sniffing the base of every tree.
It stopped at hers.
What is it, Hazel? Amber messaged back, Hazel could almost see her angry expression as she sent the message to Hazel.
The dog barked and looked into the tree. The human followed and peered into the branches of the tree.

Hazel flew out of the tree, flapping her wings as fast as she could. A small dart flew past her and a burst of adrenaline pushed her forward. Another dart flew by and then another. And then she felt a drowsy wave wash over her, she twisted her head around and to her horror, there was a dart buried in her lower leg. She didn't dare to stop, but the drowsiness was overpowering. She started faltering, but she knew if she fell the dog would get her. She landed on a branch and crouched, leaning against the trunk of the tree. She reached down and pulled out the dart. She was sure she'd lost the human and then the drowsiness made her sink onto the branch. The last thing she felt was rain falling onto her feathers.
