[Kale the Quail]

Clover dragged herself over to a tree and layed her head against its trunk. She grabbed a leaf and wrapped it tightly around her arm, holding it there with her other hand.

 

[Starburst]

Alana looked up at Melani. "Oh, hello there! I'm Alana. My parents abandoned me because I healed Grandma, and because I talked to them through my mind...will you take care of me?"
Melani smiled, "Of course. Here, come with me to the beach."
Getting up, the two walked to the beach and were shocked to see what had happened

Clover checked her foot wound and was pleased to see that it wasn't bleeding, her pleasure didn'T last long before the blood on her arm started to seep through the leaf, she grabbed another one pressed it to her arm.

Melani knelt down next to Clover. "Are you okay?"

Clover turned to look at her. "I'm fine."

Melani nodded. "I found this little girl in the forest. Her name is Alana. Apparently she has powers and saved her grandmother, and so her parents abandoned her. She can also say things without speaking or something."

Clover heard Alana say something to her, her voice appearing in her head.

Melani continued to talk. "Anyway...do you know what happened to that electrified looking girl?"
