Alana sighed but didn't argue. She knew that she'd die eventually, so why wait? Her life was miserable, anyway. "Where to?" She asked

Ash shrugged, "beach? forest near the city? across the sea?"

 

[Starburst]

"You don't sound like you have a precise location." Alana said

"no. how about just walking along the stream?" he asked.

Lunaka shrugged and backed away from the girl near her fence. She backed out of the gate and towards the stream that ran by her house. She needed to water her plants.

 

[Starburst]

"I can't walk."

 

[Kale the Quail]

"I can't walk."

"well, you know." Ash collected some dust again and lifted her up. "there."

"Oh, right." Alana smiled the first time in hours. "I forgot how fun this is."

Ash followed the stream away from the beach.

Lunaka backed cautiously away from the girl at the fence and picked up a bucket to fill with water.

Alana let out a little laugh of joy, forgetting her troubles for the time being
