Jordan smiled with thanks. "Thank you. But I never jumped to conclusions. I was just saying what I've taught my entire life." He began to apply the concoction to his shoulder

“Yes, we call ourselves cursed because what is special about us is also our downfall. My family are also cursed and as are my friends. Unfortunately we are always being hunted and a lot of us end up as orphans before we reach adulthood because our parents are killed.”

Jordan gasped. "That's horrible! And to think I almost killed some...I'm glad I met you, Amity. Can you tell me about some of your friends and what their powers are? Do you all do electricity?"

“No, um Ice makes ice, June can create illusions of your worst nightmare, Anita can create just plain illusions that can send you insane, Ashling can transform into a small seal and she can understand any language including animals, I can take and give and use energy I am also a good potion mixer so that’s kinda like a superpower”
