“Yes please now let’s get out of here” Imogen said nodding
Jordan looked around sadly. He turned to Amity, and suddenly reached out to give her a hug. "I don't want to leave you, but I have to stay with my cousin." He whispered

“I understand” she leaned into his hug
Jordan continued to hold her, staring up into the sky as he tried to blink back the tears. "I love you," He whispered, and then gently pulled away, turning to Imogen. "Let's go, I suppose." His heart felt heavy and sad.

Amity pulled back and blinked I....love you? He loves me? She watched him go slightly shocked
Jordan stopped at the edge of the forest, looking back to where Amity stood. He raised his hand, waving goodbye, and then disappeared over the crest of a hill, walking next to Imogen
Jordan turned to Imogen. "So, how's uncle?" He hoped that she hadn't noticed or overheard what Jordan had said to Amity. He didn't want to talk about it, since he felt so sad right now.
