Rose wanted to make the kids shut up, as they were trying to avoid detection by the hunters. She just sighed and continued dragging the two screaming children.

‘ You can get these two some food, but besides that no. They have no idea how to stay quiet sometimes I swear. The stupid hunters are probably at our house already so I can’t go grab them anything to eat.’
Rose turned to look at Joie and Tristesse, who were by that point pulling each other’s hair and screaming twice as loud. ‘ You two, be quiet. Tristesse, stop touching your sister. Joie, get away from your brother. We can get food later.’

Ash stopped in the forest, I made a mistake, I shouldn't do this. I'm going to go back. Give up on my plan. Give up on the humans. Hide. Run. He turned back and ran. A shout. A bullet snagged the top of his shoulder and he stumbled before he picked up speed again and kept running.

amber saw a squirrel worriedly scampering into the bushes and then decided against it instared she picked a pair mint leaves,
"there you go," she said handing them to rose, "i can get more better food later,"

suddenly a gunshot tore through the air,
"okay you're fine now i'm going," said amber and quickly transformed and flew away

‘ Thank you so much. These two are normally pretty well behaved, but when we are trying to hide from hunters is when they tell me they’re hungry.’

Rose hand a mint leave to each of the children.
‘ Okay guys, what do you say?’

Joie looked over at the girl that had given her food and smiled. ‘ Thank you!’

Tristesse, who didn’t like mint apparently, refused to thank the nice girl.

‘ Whatever, we need to go now.’
Rose continued dragging the two kids towards the shore.

"okay you're fine now i'm going," said amber and quickly transformed and flew away

Ash ran, holding his shoulder with one hand. He built up dust behind him and threw it at the hunters behind him. The noise of coughing and then, eventually, choking, filled the air.

amber saw some dust and saw the hunters coughing behind a boy who was holding his shoulder,
"hey you! climb on my back, i'll take you to the beach if that's where you're going, basiclyy everyone is, " she yelled

"why do I want to go to the beach if everyone't there?! It'll be a slaughter party for the hunters!" he shouted back.
