Clover stayed where she was, dying to leave to find electric girl, but not wanting to leave while the humans could be watching her and pretending to not have noticed.

Jordan continued to motion furiously for the girl to go, but it was getting clear that she wasn't leaving, and Uncle was waiting for him to answer a question

 

[Kale the Quail]

Clover took a step forward, and the crackle of leaves split the silent air. She froze again, waiting.

 

[Starburst]

"You heard that?" Jordan asked, his face growing pale again

"Amity is not a thing!" Jordan cried angrily, forgetting about the girl behind him as fury coursed through his veins

Amity? who's Amity? another cursed one? a human in love with a cursed one? Clover thought. She shrugged it away and took another step, stepping on more leaves. She froze, how many leaves are on the ground here!?

Jordan burned when he realized that the girl was still there, but continued to defend Amity. "She's not bad, Uncle. She has the power to use electricity. But she also healed me, Uncle."

Clover took a deep breath and turned around, she stepped out of the bushes, "hey," she said, "do you know where Amity is?" she said from behind the boy. "My friend's been shot and she needs help."

Jordan swung around, grabbed the girl's hand, and dragged her into the bushes, running at almost inhumane speed. After he was sure they had gotten away, he stopped. "You almost got yourself killed. That's my uncle, and he's the top hunter!" He hissed. "Now, where's this friend of yours?"
