Maybelle flapped away from Alana. She fluttered through the trees, being a pigeon.

Ash picked up some dust and blew it around himself, happy to be alive. The hunters hadn't come to the forest since the fire and he had a lot of ash to collect.

Rose looked at the burnt trees. She motioned towards the group of hunters coming and walked into the forest. She had ways to get gifted ones, it was too easy to fool them. She knew she was gifted too, but she was different. She stopped letting emotions get in her way awhile back, and that made her power stronger. She controlled emotions better when she didn’t have any.

Maybelle finally flew up above the trees when she turned back into a human. She fell to the ground, letting out a scream as she landed.

Lunaka had spotted a deer, but it ran off just as a group of other hunters trooped by. She hissed quietly and got up to find something else.

Rose lead the hunters through the woods, watching for any signs of gifted ones. She needed some more gifted ones, she needed to hunt better. ‘ Humans, stay. I will find some in my own, one girl is less suspicious then a group of hunters.’ She said, and walked into the trees.
