Lunaka ran into the forest where Ash and Ada were. "Where's Bessie, topaz, his sister, Squilf, and Ashling?" she asked.

 

[Starburst]

Ashling struggled to sit up again but was once more unable to. She let out a cry for help, then lay there in wait, unsure if she was about to die. (She doesn't know that she's on the beach.)

 

[Kale the Quail]

Lunaka heard a cry and turned to see a moving bag on the beach.

 

[BESSIE THE QUAIL]

topaz and serene looked up from the ashling sack,
"here!" called topaz,
"ashling is with us!" called serene

Bessie went over to ash and saw that he was coverdin blood, a little rain clod floated down and washed away the blood,

ada shifted back into her uninjured sonaper form

Ash wiped away the water and looked to Ada, "what are you going to do about Alana?" he asked.

Lunaka slipped to the ground, exhausted.
