Squilf was knocked off her course to the next tree by a bullet in her side. She screamed and landed on the ground, breaking into a run. She didn't even know what direction she was going in. If she got caught again they'd just kill her. I hope the others are safe and that my distraction worked. she thought.
Clover watched as the leftover hunters were taken down. Ashling took Alana out of the bush and sat her against a tree. Clover sighed and leaned against a different tree.
