she's gifted? amy thought, shocked. why would the hunters give a cursed one a high rank. why didn't they kill her?

"when's our first hunt?" Amy asked, pushing curious thoughts about Rose out of her head.

Ash continued towards the city.
Squilf noticed that the hunters that'd been chaasing her had left and she started walking towards what she thought was Lunaka's house. from there she could find her bearings and get back into the forest.

‘ Depends. You, Amy was it? You will probably go first. I think you have great potential.’ And it seems my powers don’t work on you, I’ll test the wild gifted’s powers against you too. Rose tried to detect Amy’s emotions again, but to no avail.
