"Why should I? You have no power over me!" Laidan said, lifting her chin. She pushed her self off of the ground, grabbing at her bleeding arm as soon as she stood upright.

"Do you not see what I did to your arm, fool?" Briallen laughed viciously before kicking Laidan down, causing her to skid against the ground as the dust billowed up behind her and filled her lungs. The mare stood over Laidan, pawing at the ground for her next attack.

From loss of blood, and the sheer amount of pain, Laiden finally passed out. Her eyes rolled back into her head, and she fell limp.

Briallen threw her to the ground, one last billow of dust puffing into the air. The mare shoved her into a bush and turned around to leave.

Laidans limp body rolled into the thick bushes, almost completely hidded except for the fact that her dress was white and easily seen.
