She rolled her eyes

She shot her a look. "You're on my last nerve, Aerona. One last action like that and you're with the slaves."

"I'm sure I am" she mumbled

Erasong glared. "Watch it. Just because you're some self-proclaimed god, it doesn't mean you're better than any of us. The Lost Ones are a team and we help each other. Anyone who behaves like they should be a slave will be treated like such. Got that?"

"Yes, and they will be even better if you obey," she said before sliding out of the cabin.

"Well, the wounds aren't that bad, they'll heal up in a matter of weeks." Said the doctor after looking over Laidan's wounds. "Thank you, Doctor." Laidan's Mother said lightly, handing him a few coins. He grunted a response, nodding before turning towards the doorway. The Doctor pulled on his coat, in the dim lighting of the hallway, his graying brown hair slicked over onto his head in a formal way. As he stepped outside, Laidan's Mother walked back into the living room with a aggitated look on her still youthful face. "Laidan, how many times do I need to tell you? Do not go into the forest, ever again!" She said, putting her heads onto her hips. "Alright, alright, I won't ever step foot in that forest again." Said Laidan, rubbing her upper arm where the Doctor had wrapped a bandage around it tightly. She looked up from her lap, her gentle green eyes staring at the room half closed. All of the curtains were closed, the rich red velvet blocking out most of the bright sunlight. It gave the room a dark, eerie look, what with the only light coming from a few candles and the fire. She rubbed her shoulder tiredly, sighing as she tried to sit up straight in the old wooden chair her Mother had placed her in earlier. "I'm, I'm going for a walk." She mumbled, hopping up from the un-comfortable chair at last and walking to the doorway. "Stay away from the woods darling!" She called after Laidan, as the young Woman walked out the door way. Sighing with relief as she stepped out into the fresh air, Laidan wrapped her shawl over her petite shoulders and began her walk. It had been so stuffy inside her house, and she nearly passed out several times from the heat. Glad to be walking again, Laidan passed the sales people with a cheerful smile and bright eyes. She seemingly floated across the ground; lightly stepping over the rocks. Her silky, wavy hair was pulled away from her smooth olive toned face, giving her a more open look. Her dress reached the ground, and was a light brown in color. Her sleeves were large a billowy, falling to her elbows. To cover the rest of her arm, under-neath her dress she wore another with longer, skin tight sleeves that formed perfectly over her slender arms. Laidan's neck-line was quite modest, pulled up to her neck. A slender belt was tied around her waist, and below her skirt was layered and thick. It moved gracefully, just like its wearer.

Since Laidan had grabbed her gathering basket discreetly before running out the doorway, she silently walked towards the edge of the village to gather herbs for her Mother's kitchen. Deciding not to disobey her Mother again, she sighed sadly and stayed away from the forest.
