She sniffed, slightly humored. "I don't have all day. Come on! Come on!" She snarled threateningly. (Is that even a WORD?!)

(Yes)

There wasn't a sound.

Sylwanin knew they were gone, so she gathered her supplies, her eyes still on the bushes.

But the creature was not gone, it was watching her.

 

[TechnoCat]

Sylwanin resorted to a nearby tree, but still watching never-the-less.

A dark shape flickered in the bushes, then was gone. The tree shook slightly.

 

[TechnoCat]

Sylwanin drew her bow, aiming. "Show yourself!"

 

[HollyBird24]

Something slammed into her from behind, knocking her out of the tree and causing the bow to fly out of her hands. A large foot stepped on it, crushing it to tiny pieces but then melted back into the shadows.

 

[TechnoCat]

Sylwanin hit the ground, knocking the wind from her. She reached for her dagger.

The forest was quiet once more, nothing moved.
