Congrats! Your kids will go crazy...I know my 3 girls have!!!! They grow so quick and can make a poopy mess. Our 6 are only about 11 days old and they have at least double to tripled in size since we got them last Wednesday.

I figured they might grow big quick. unlike chickens do. so their run is just about complete. a few little things, but its ready for them , when the time comes. although i love little fuzzies in the house, i like them outside better.

my kids are very excited. they have already named them "jackie" and "leaky"......thats the names a 5 yr old and 3 yr old named them!

Oh Boy... brothers & sisters. My hatch day is also on the 14th from Metzers and I also am taking "maturnity leave" when they get here next week. Mine are 1 pekin, 1 buff, 1 black swedish, 1 cayuga and 2 welsh harlequins. I'm beside myself. I live near Tulsa Oklahoma, so I think they will get here Wednesday, hopefully. I'm going to the post office tomorrow morning to make sure they are ready for next week. I also got 7 chciks hatching/shipping on the 21st. My friends were giving me a hard time at lunch today because I have names for all of them already. This is my first time with ducks & chickens and I'm very nervous.
