I live in freaking MASSACHUSETTS and we got NO SNOW
well technically we got a powder dusting yesterday (the first snowfall since Thanksgiving practically) but it was all melted by morning. :/

Our traditional breakfast is *American Pancakes*. They are neither American nor pancakes. When I was a very young mum I had an American cookbook of breakfast ideas. The pancakes recipe called for *all purpose flour.* No such thing out here so I assumed it was Self Raising Flour. It isn't! So our *pancakes* are a cross between a cake & a pikelet.
