Hi everyone! Wondering if anyone can give me any info on this bird? In the new member forum people seem to agree that this is a rooster but anything anyone can tell me that can help me get to know him better would be greatly appreciated. Here he is...

here is a shot of him from the side, not the best pic but he wouldn't let me get too close. He has some tail feather missing from the episode with my dog. I would imagine he is some sort of mix. My neighbor said he was used for fighting, not sure if that helps with anything or even if it is true.
