I have to agree...I don't know much about Rotties, but her head just seems "right".

When/how do you get rid of the tails? Is it painful?

This litter was docked on the day of birth before we left the veterinarian. Most puppies are done by 3 days of age. They do indicate that it is painful, however, they quiet immediately afterwards, and show no sign of stress once returned to their mothers.

Puppies are very immature neurologically at birth, and the pain centers, in particular in the extremities, are not well developed.
