Species info: Imagine an albatross, except it’s a dragon. They live mostly on the wing, soaring over the ocean. Feed off squid and fish that school near the surface and drink salt water (something seabirds can actually do). Most of them live solitary lives or in small family groups, but Flikkial’s family group is unusual in that it’s rather large and territorial. Reproduce rarely, even rarer in captivity.
Looks: Long, pointy head. Dull grayish scales that get darker near her wings, which are black, light gray almost-white scales on her underside. Four legs, wings that jut from her shoulders. Dark brown eyes.
Typical for her species, she doesn’t have many spikes, horns, or intimidating teeth. Her mouth is actually more like a bird’s beak than a lizard’s. Long and slender body, with a huge wingspan (built for soaring on ocean winds)- a little less than 3 times her body length. Long, but thin front claws for stabbing and picking up fish. Her species has very weak flaming abilities, but that doesn’t matter now since she can’t fire-breath anyway.
Personality: Ruthless in battle. Rather cold and menacing. Weird; doesn’t seem to act quite right. Has never been casual in her life. Hard to predict- can go from calm to murderous in seconds. Does what she thinks is right, no matter the cost. Usually says exactly what she’s thinking, even if it’s rude or insensitive. If you hang around her long enough, you’ll see that she has a rather awkward side.
Bio: As mentioned above, her family group is particularly large and aggressive, unusual for penna lizards. Flikkial follows her family without question, even killing for them without a second thought. Their ocean territory is one of the few ocean migration routes (do dragons migrate?) that doesn’t have an overabundance of ships and humans on the closer shores, making it a popular route. But, due to Flikkial’s family, it has become increasingly dangerous to cross it, so dragons will often try and use the shores to go around the body of water, a much longer trip.
Flikkial has always been a bit of a loner, but nevertheless is content to act like the rest of her family. She was notified of a sighting of a dragon near the shores and went to go kill it. Moments after the fight began, both were captured by humans. That was years ago, and now Flikkial fights obediently in the pits. She is absolutely ruthless to her opponents, but that certainly doesn’t mean she always wins. Though she seems to be content to fight for the humans as she was for her family, if an opportunity came to escape she wouldn’t waste it.
Other: Penna is Latin for wing :p
If anyone else wants to make dragons of the same species, that would be great.

Age for dragons is exactly what you would think it'd be. They live many times longer then humans. Some can be a couple thousand years. Yes there can be migratory dragons, i've come up with a few migratory species before myself.

Before we can start, we need the male in charge, since h's kinda like the leader of the captive dragons.)

I don’t know what I think. :oops: Could you sort of identify the dragon age equivalent to human life stages? Like young adult, middle aged, etc.

Is my character accepted other than the age?

I guess hatchling would be about 0-6, then youngster 7-18, teen 19-49, young adult 50-150, adult 151-several thousand, then there's the elders, which are even older.

No, but it does look really cool since it’s like wandering albatross Riski.

Personality: Riski is charming and convincing. His personality makes friends and enemies. Definitely a debater personality, Riski loves politics. He will play devils advocate and he will join your side just for the heck of it. (Though he only ever joins what he sees as the “right side.”) His personality has gained him many allies, and an equal number of enemies. Highly intelligent with many years of experience and wandering, and he knows it. Riski may make a friend once and never come back, or he will come back to visit many times. Friend or enemy, Riski won’t forget you. And he’ll pick that relationship right off where he left off when he meets you again. He doesn’t purposefully make enemies. Enemies make themselves. He’s really not a fighter. He’s a thinker. Very ambitious.
Bio: World traveler. Riski traveled the world, and he often traveled alone. He did not follow the usual migration patterns. He rarely associated with his species. But he met many dragons on the way. Assisted in their petty disputes. “When you’ve seen the world from the heights I have, you will see this is all a game for me.”
Riski had always thought a little big for his breeches. With a wingspan greater than any other dragon species, Riski’s metaphorical breeches were larger than most. This made for a dangerous combination. Throughout his long life, Riski has played a lot of parts in a lot of lives. Ally, outcast, leader.
Often Riski flew around human territory. But he was never caught until now. Maybe he’ll have assisted a little in choosing the leading dragon?
