The police got word of the fighting ring. The dragons took advantage of the chaos to escape. Most did, except a select few whom were taken by the ring still and or by the cops. Most scattered but a few have stayed together.)

(idk how a dragon managed to lift Blood’s cage. Shouldn’t have been able to)
Grevyn did not escape. Why would she? She had the humans eating out of her scaly seven clawed hands. (Or, if she had realized it, she was eating out of their hands.)
Grevyn had no desire to go outside. She had seen the outside, and it was undesirable.
So she wound herself round the shoulders of a convenient criminal and was brought along on the ride to a new location.

"Well," Foster began hesitantly, "I think that- Oh look!! A Collared Grosbeak!! I've never seen one before. Look bright it's feathers are. So pretty."

That was one smooth, smooth evasion of the fourth wall, Grevyn begrudged.
