"Stop!" Felicia flew behind Cliff. "That was all I needed to know. You are very loyal. And before I let you return, I want to tell you this. I know." She looked at the young pegasus.
 
Cliff spun around toward her. He lowered his head "Does it...make a difference?" He asked quietly "I want to help" He stammered "I want to...but I just...can you not tell the others? I understand if you have to, and I understand if you think that..." He trailed off "I'm sorry I didn't tell you"
 
She looked at him kindly."The only difference it makes is that you have to work harder.
I will not tell. I am very proud of you. Have you ever heard of LightningFlight? He was a remarkable pegasus. And he was blind and deaf."
 
"Really? I would have liked to meet him" Cliff smiled slightly "And I will. I will work hard. Is hard as it takes. And thank you, I really appreciate that"
 
"Thank you" Cliff dipped his head "I'll be in my den"

Jonny was now only a few feet away from the deer. He blended in nicely with the large rock, and prepared to pounce.
 
Jonny pounced the deer. He was kicked in the head, and dragged through the woods in an intense struggle, but he eventually brought the deer down. He secretly wished he were a bigger dragon as he lay, panting, on top of the downed deer.

Cliff followed the worn path to his den and trotted inside.
 
(Felicia is the good alpha for pegasi, Jonny will move up to pack member if he can prove himself, but he is currently hunting. Ashira is having nightmares)
