The Dragon Riders

Suddenly, his bedroom door bursted open. It was Ryans father. He looked ferious as he saw Ryan holding the bird. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" He demanded to know as he hit the wall with the back of his fist making a loud noise ring throughout the room. Ryan gulped, "I'm just... Feeding it." He replied, his hand shivering next to the parrot. Ryans dad glared at the bird. "That's it. No more pets for you..." He said coldly. He snatched the bird by it's feet as it squaked and hung trying to get out of his grip. Ryan stared in horror at the bird, but he knew he couldn't do anything now. "GUARD! Get me a bag!" He yelled. In seconds a royal guard handed the king a bag. He fiercly grabbed it and suffocated the bird by putting the bag over its head making it impossible for any air to enter. Ryan stood there watching the bird die, speechless for what could he possibly do. Feathers were flying everywhere as the bird squacked trying to get air. Then, finally Juno stopped. Everyone in the room knew it was now dead. The king handed the dead bird to the knight. "Burn it." He commanded and then left the room after slamming the door. Ryan was emotionless on the outside, but on the inside...

Kyle and Aria talked about other things until the sun disappeared. "Here, I'll give your a ride home." He hopped onto midnight and then offered his hand for Aria to take. She looked at Starflight and then grabbed the hand and jumped onto the horse. As they rode through the dark woods Starflight flew ahead of them.

After dinner, Julie went up to her room again and changed into her night gown. She went to her window and let out the high pitched whistle again. Ten minutes later, sunset flew up to her window. She smiled and scratched her neck. "Good girl." Chip was curled up on Julie's bed.

(That's horrible!!)

Kyle dropped Aria off at her house and then left to her own. She looked around to see if anyone was out this late. "No one saw you. Cmon." She whispered to starflight who was almost as tall as half of her cottage. She led Starflight to the big farm house her family had that they rarely ever used now. Aria hugged her beautiful white dragon. "Goodnight." She said and then locked the barn so no one would be able to enter. She crept into her house and to her room. "Phew." Aria lied down on her bed and looked at the wooden ceiling until she fell asleep.

Ryan put on a royal and special suit on for his meeting with the princess in Galore. Once it was time to go Ryan and his dad were put inside a white carriage made of silver and gold. They arrived about two hours later.

The next morning, Julie woke up and dressed in her riding clothes. "Alright. C'mon chip. Lets test your skills." She said. She climbed up on chip. Chip waited for her command before bolting out the wide open window and out into the wide open air. His big wings were outstretched as they flew. Se smiled to herself. Sunset flew right next to them, her radiating wings sparkling in the morning sun. Ryan was going to be there in less than an hour.
