The king nodded. "Very good." He said. Julia was sick and tired of just sitting there. "Can you pick please? I'd like to go explore, if you don't mind." Her mother shot her a scolding look. "I think we have our winner." Said the kind. Julia sighed in relief. She got to we feet. "Can I go now? Please?" She said. We father nodded. She ran off into the trees, her satchel over her shoulder, arrows too, and we now in her hand. She practically dove into the forest of trees. She found her horse, cocoa and raced off to her favorite spot in the woods.

Kyle followed a royal knight to the king's chambers. The king congratulated Kyle for becoming the newest royal knight to guard the princess. "Now, for your first task. I'd like you to find my daughter." He said with a jolly laugh. He nodded and left the palace. He remembered which way she went towards the woods.
 
Julie stopped at her favorite spot near a beautiful clear pond. She took out the satchel and carried the egg in her arms. She set it down in front of her aside the water and crossed her legs. This was really cool to have a dragon egg.
 
Kyle finally arrived next to a pond. He looked around and saw Julie. Then, he noticed she had set down something. It looked like.. a dragon egg!!! Kyle slowly walked towards Julie hoping he wouldn't scare her.
 
She heard something behind her. She jumped up and whirled around, shooting an arrow at the person. Missing on purpose, it hit the tree right next to his head. She kept another arrow drawn. Then she realized it was the new guard. In her other hand, she had a dagger ready to throw. "Oops, sorry." She said apologetically. She put the bow and arrow and dagger down. She crossed we arms over her chest. "Don't sneak up on me like that. Every guard is suppose to know that." She smiled.

Kyle laughed in amazement, "Aha sorry, I am new after all." He said with a smirk.
 
Aria finally decided that she would take care of the egg and keep it safe no matter what. It was now her responsibility, and there would be no turning back. She carefully grabbed the egg and then held it in her arms. It was way warmer than before. Was something wrong..? Suddenly, she felt the egg move a little bit. She set it down on her bed. There were cracking noises and little parts of the egg were breaking off. "It's hatching..." She whispered happily. Then, a pure white scaled dragon flopped out of the egg and fell onto the bed on it's side. It's beautiful sparkly blue eyes stared at Aria.

"Yeah. It's beautiful. Dragon eggs hatch very quickly. I wonder when yours will." He said locking his eyes onto the egg. Another dragon egg!?
