The Duck Thread

I showed these pictures to my DH and I said do you notice anything in these pictures? LOL, I too wish he would get more involved. I told him I'm going to take a video of him as he is always telling my ducks to shut up. Not in a mean way but a way that just makes them talk more. He helps me feed and pen them up and does anything I want for them so I am grateful for that.
That's so sweet. Ducks aren't like dogs where you can say "hush" and they go quiet. Talking to them will typically entice them to talk back. LOL.

My DH tells me they're ok but he doesn't like them as much as I do. Lol
Mine would never admit to liking them or the chickens, lol.

I don't think he knows that and I'm surely not going to tell him. I get a kick out of them talking back to him

My hubby probably plays with the ducks more than I do :)

Wobbles, love the pictures! Willow is my favorite.

So my mallard hen seems to have walked off :/ We haven't seen her since yesterday morning. I'm holding out hope that she saw a flight of ducks somehow and decided to join her wild kin, but I'm worried that she may have flown into a neighbor's yard, and there are a lot of dogs around here :( Poor drakes don't know what to do.

Sorry to hear this especially about the dogs. I never take that chance with my ducks[Muscovy] I always clip one wing after molt each year, way too many predators out there with Duck on their menus.

I know they do, I just don't know duck, our drake comes to us just talking up a storm we just don't understand other than if it's an alarm

Need to find a hen for him one of these days, we though it was a hen until we had to get rid of the mallard when they both matured and were drakes. But not many Swedish around here
