Thanks everyone. They have been my bright spot lately. Still battling lymes with our sweet dog and our little old lady Chihuahua passed away in her sleep last week. It has been a rough year and the ducks can get me laughing even in the middle of the tears. I've been lurking on the forum, enjoying all of the photos and stories to keep my mind busy. Thanks for providing me a happy place.

The sad thing is I wish I was kidding. They were sitting under the hay trailer the other day, and when I squatted down to say hi, I broke a twig. Ducks got up and ran. It's human abuse, I tell you! Lol.

I agree because the horrid thing is they are so cute and soft and as people we wanna hold them but they don't wanna be held so we suffer.

I love WH too! I was going to order a couple in the spring, but now I won't have to. The best part was trading my 2 KC drakes I had been trying to find a new home for the past month. So didn't increase my flock size
