Really? I don't have any crumbles, though, just pellets. The Naturally Peck is mash, I think? I'm not certain. I just know it's not pellets and it's not crumbles lol.

I usually don't wash mine till right before I use them or am giving them away. I've never kept any of my eggs on the counter so not sure how long they can stay out. I don't think they are as porous as chicken eggs. I steam most of our ducks eggs for the dogs. and give some away and bake with them my dh doesn't care for duck eggsNow that we are getting an egg a day, it suddenly dawned on me that I don't know what to do with them, lol. Are duck eggs porous like chicken eggs? Do you wash them or not? Is it ok to keep them on the counter at room temperature or do you refrigerate them? Thanks y'all![]()

Wow, thanks for all the info everybody! Great pics too. Sorry you lost some to bobcats! Poor little guys. 'Tis the life of a bird owner, I guess. We are going to go pick up another duckling for company for him. Should we do another Mallard? Also, it won't matter if it is male or female, will it? Because we don't know the sex of the little one. I am kind of interested in adding a Khaki Campbell as they have good egg production.
