That looks within normal range, though I might think whether they're getting enough grit.
They haven't been free ranging because it's freezing and stormy up here. They're eatubg Purina Sunrise mix
Are you giving grit along with it? very important for them to have grit to help "chew" up their feed.
Is it not in their food?
No I have only seen grit in a brand of 7 way scratch I use to buy but reg feed doesn't have it.
New duck owner here. Can my crested drake breed and fertilize 10 hen kakhi Campbells. Want ducklings for Easter.
Don't see why not... You will have some neat cross breeds!
Drake is a kakhi too, just wondering if 10 is too many hens for him
Oh duh sorry... I would guess that depends on the drake, if he has favourites or if alpha hens keep the lesser girls away from him
Yes he can it's not safe to breed one crested with another crested. other than that I don't see any . You are aware of the health problems crested can have? https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/837366/crested-ducks-the-whole-picture
He probably won't mate with 10 ducks, but he may try. put him on some good vitamins. LOL
