I'd like to add that you should cover the wire in the bator, because if she gets out of her cup it will almost certainly rupture the yolk, which would be very bad. Do you have any of that no slip shelf liner?

Nope, but I did cover it with papar towel...

Good point Kathy but I think by then it should have already gone inside but as a precaution, That's a good point..

When you check her and if that sac has not done anything then you will need to clean her and this is where it gets very very scary. Not to stress u out, but one false move could pop it.

get some warm water and qtips and you will need to gently RUB the area, your basically going to get it wet, this is why I said, no need to let the wet paper towels touch it because you'll be keeping it wet. clean around, and on it. Hopefully you will not have to attempt this because again this is really risky.. I shake all the time when I need to do this. Scares the crap out of me and I've done it to quite a few of them.. LOL

The water can't be cold and you don't want it to hot, check it on your wrist. I'll tell you what is very surprising is her eyes are opened, NORMALLY a duck in this position will act as though they are dead, they sleep, sleep, sleep so this is a very very good sign that she's a fighter..

Now, you mentioned some goo stuff in her shell, what color was it? Green, yellow, red, did it look like a snot ball????

Might be best to use distilled water or water run through RO, especially if you're on well water.

I went back and looked at your cup set up, looks good but she needs to be more like this..






There is another option to help, but I would not recommend it, but I will tell you about it just because... LOL but it would be to sterlize your two fingers, wash them good, keep them wet and gently apply pressure on it, slowly pushing it into her, but I would NOT recommend it unless you are absolutely a pro because it's very very easy to break that sac.. the pressure has to be right not to much and not to little.. but it is another option out there.
