It looks larger?? Can u confirm??
Lets try this, keep her on the towel out of the cup, lets see if she can dry up some and possible shrink that belly button up. If she makes it threw the night, I say, lets tie her up. she can't go to many days without eating or drinking and tomorrow will be day 2 for her and that's cutting things really close..
Well we could but if you notice it's turning colors and that could very well be an infection spreading. If we push it in her, we have now pushed the infection inside. Less moisture will slow down the infection, inside a body, it's very moist so it would likely spread and spread very quickly. At the present time, it's spreading but spreading at a slow paste.. I was hoping should would at least Close that belly button up and apparently she's not doing that.. the longer we wait the likely the infection will spread and get the best of her.Can this turn into something like an umbilical hernia on a puppy? I was just wondering since the yolk sack has gotten bigger. Gently pushing a hernia back will help sometimes, but that's a dog. No experience with ducks. Just thinking out loud and hoping for the easy answer. So pulling for little Cocktail!! You two have done an amazing job with this saga!!
Did she drink before or after the pic??I believe so. She took some water though. Gave her vit.b
Peep, peep,peep!
