Hes doing better. Would be even more better if we could get him to swallow the pills
They typically start laying between 20-24 weeks, depending when they were hatched. Some of yours will probably start laying in late summer or early fall, but you don't need to be concerned if some don't lay until next year.I have a khaki(hen), 2 pekin(hens), 2 Rouen(drakes), 3 mallard(2 hens and a drake), and one silver appleyard (hen) all are about 18 weeks old at what age should I expect eggs from my babies
I also have 2 mallards that are about 2 months old
I'm glad you're doing better, and I'm also very happy to hear there are no signs of physical illness with JoJo. Is he still spending all his time hanging out in front of the mirror?I'm doing better. I miss her soo much. And i am hurting for jojo. He physically doing good except he wont eat his feed but, hrs getting a little mean sometimes, i was told hes angry and hurt from losing his mate. I know he cant decide if he wants human loving or to be left alone. Its so sad. The more i think about it i truly believe the best option is becoming a house duck and not to get any girlfriends for awhile. Him and Charlie were a bonded pair. He's not ready yet. I'll be there as much as I can. He's strong, I think he'll survive, its just gonna take quite awhile. Thanks for asking!
