The Duck Thread

Shut the door, lol... really mine love to swim in their pool at night... but to keep them safe, I close up their house at night... be careful, owls love duck dinner....

Hee hee mine are exactly the same! I have to put the hens in first and let them have a few minutes more or they huff on me!!

I'm pretty excited. I found the perfect little duck pool! I was looking for something simple, shallow, and easily movable if the need arose. I wanted it elevated, I'm not excited about digging large holes. I needed it square so it would fit nicely into a corner of the run and maximize floor/ground space. I didn't want a stock tank either. I was looking for more area rather than depth. This pool I found is on clearance for $50, which makes it a TON better! lol It's 48"x48"x12" and the material is that tough PVC stuff. It even has a drain plug. :celebrate Hello perfect! I bought 2. The plan is to put them side by side in the run, have a ramp going into each pool, and a small bridge going from one pool into the other. Here's the link in case anyone is interested. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Intex-Min...fault&beacon_version=1.0.1&findingMethod=p13n
I got one of those about a month ago, the 6' square version, I think its 16" deep. My 4 love it! Its deeper than any of the round kiddie pools, so they can dive a little more! Enjoy!

Adorable! Welcome to The Duck Thread! Maybe this pic should be submitted for the calendar...

Yes I think so too.

Short story, he's cage was ripped open and he was attacked. That was a long day. Chest head and tail were torn at varying degrees of seriousness. Was worried for a bit. Condition has much improved.
Sadly at this point qbert might be a queen bee but I'm still holding out hope.
well Qbert is a miracle and a very adorable little being. I'd kiss him or her if I could.
