this one was taken in night mode on my cell phone

a couple of them have really good veining. But I don't see an outline, more of a black/dark blob lol. The 7 that I see the veins in are a little heavier than the others. Is this normal or all in my head lol? They are from our mixed flock of Rouen& Peking hens and Rouen, Peking & Khaki drakes. I wonder if my rate is low because they are young still... almost 6 months old.

I sell mine for $6 a dozen and always sell out. Farm fresh chicken eggs sell for $5 a dozen around here. I sell mine through Craigslist and you can go price them out in your area. If you are priced too high people won't buy.

I dont see any duck eggs for sale near me. I was thinking maybe $4 for a half dozen.

You can always try, to me $8 a dozen seems high. I tried to sell half dozen but no one was interested in them and usually wanted at least 1-2 dozen at a time.

I have found that a lot depends on distance to buy and believe it or not (for duck eggs) if you have a large Asian community around. We live 13 miles from town and get very little business for egg buying except during hunting season when all the lodges are full. But, we have a small Asian community that will drive out the 13 miles for duck eggs. They use them is special ways...Balut and Salted eggs. Regular prices for chicken eggs are 3 dollars per dozen...we try to undercut the markets. Regular for duck is 10 dollars per dozen...we don't sell that many but we always sell to the same 3 or 4 people. Hunting season for chicken eggs we get 5 dollars per dozen.

It's a baby Chickadee in my hand. I rescued it out of a neighbors yard after it fell out of its nest. And it isn't a dumb question, I assure you -- many other people have asked me.
