I mentioned house duck and diapers to DH a few minutes ago. I said I wanted a big one maybe muscovy or large pekin. And the bargaining begins. He'll want an old car. So not so bad.

Tell him you want a horse so you can negotiate down to a duck.

I've had horses. We're not zoned for that or I would have one here. I have a friend who has 2 and I could put one there if the right one comes along. Been keeping my eyes open for a little while. My poultry is a pacifier. He spoils me. I got a great guy.

Please duck lovers in east texas help. I have three ducks. A breeding pair of cayugas and a saxony drake. Sadly my saxony drake gets excluded. He needs and deserves a mate. I need a female duck. Any breed. I love cross breeds, they are gourgeous in my eyes. But my cayuga male excludles my nibbles. Any thoughts on a good place to find a free to good home duck hen. Any breed but muscovy. I want a breedable hen, and muscovys typically dont cross. Please help. My baby needs a wife. He was a rescue, and needs a love i cant provide.

Have you checked your local CraigsList? That might be a good place to look. It's www.craigslist.org, then you choose your region.

none on there. Sadly craigslist produced no love for my baby
